Wu-Wei XP Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions for Payments, Cancellations and Refunds, as well as the enclosed Liability Disclaimer and Money-Back Guarantee govern your booking of workshops made available by Wu-Wei XP (hereafter referred to as the “the company,” “we,” “us” or “our”) through wuweixp.com (the “website”)
1. Overview
1.1 Having read these Terms & Conditions, you agree to pay the rates displayed on the website at the time of booking. These rates will remain in effect for the duration of the term agreed upon at that time.
1.2 You understand and agree that we may change these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The revised Terms & Conditions will become effective immediately at the time of posting.
1.3 You agree to pay for your enrolment in a workshop/seminar in advance. If a booking remains unpaid for thirty (30) days, we shall have the option to terminate your booking and offer your place to other interested parties.
2. Acceptable Payment Methods
2.1 By booking a workshop on our website, you authorize us and our agents to transact with your bank or other payment gateways on your behalf to obtain the necessary information required to process payment, confirm payment, resolve inquiries and billing disputes, and/or as otherwise required to manage the booking.
2.2 We accept the following payment methods: (i) Credit Cards with MasterCard, Visa or other branding (ii) International Debit Cards with which your issuer has allowed you to make online purchases; (iii) direct bank deposits and/or transfers; and (iv) payments in cash.
3. Online Payment Gateway
3.1 Wu-Wei XP uses a third-party payment gateway called Stripe (https://stripe.com). Stripe provides us with a secure payment gateway solution and facilitates us in accepting your online payments on the website by means of credit/debit cards or various other acceptable modes of payment.
3.2 Stripe is a Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) certified payment gateway. Stripe has implemented technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration or disclosure.
3.3 However, neither Wu-Wei XP nor Stripe can guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.
3.4 You acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
If you cancel your enrolment for a workshop, refunds are calculated on the basis of the following refund policies:
4.1 All cancellation requests must be in writing (an email to service@wuweixp.com will suffice); the date of cancellation is the date we receive your written cancellation request.
4.2 Our workshops are held on the basis of sufficient enrolment. If we cancel a workshop due to insufficient enrolment, you will be given the option of a full refund or transferring your paid fees to the next available date at no additional charge.
4.3 If a workshop is cancelled by us due to an emergency, illness, accident, death, or any other imaginable crisis, either before or after its scheduled start, you will not incur any expenses and any fees paid will be fully refunded.
4.4 If you cancel your enrolment at least one (1) month before the scheduled start of a workshop, we will refund all the fees paid.
4.5 If you cancel your enrolment at least seven (7) business days before the scheduled start of a workshop, we will refund 50% of the fees paid.
4.6 If you cancel your enrolment within the week before the scheduled start of a workshop, we will not refund any fees paid.
4.7 Fees are generally refunded within seven (7) business days; however, the length of time required for the funds to be credited to your account is determined by your financial institution. Please check with your financial institution on their specific rules regarding returned or refunded transactions.
4.8 Wu-Wei XP Institute has no obligation to issue refunds if the payment for which the refund request is made was never received due to force majeure or any other imaginable reasons.
4.9 Refunds requiring special handling may result in a delayed return of the funds.
4.10 Information disclosed to the Institute for the purposes of processing your refund requests will be protected in accordance with our current Privacy Statement.
5. Liability Disclaimer
Please read this liability disclaimer form carefully.
5.1 By attending a workshop organised by Wu-Wei XP, you agree to follow any and all safety instructions given by the organizer(s), facilitator(s) and/or the owner of the premises/sites where the event is held.
5.2 You understand that neither we nor the host(s) of the event as stated above, accept any responsibility for accidents, injury or illness to you and damage or loss to your property in connection with the event.
5.3 You also understand that neither we nor the host(s) of the event accept any responsibility for accidents, injury, damage or loss caused by your negligence to any other persons or property in any premises/sites where the event is being held.
5.4 You agree to indemnify and hold us and the above stated host(s) harmless from and against all claims including any injury, damage or loss to yourself and your property; or caused by your negligence to any other persons or property in any premises/sites, during or in conjunction with the event.
5.5 You acknowledge to have fully read and understood this Liability Disclaimer and thereby acknowledge that you understand and agree to its terms and conditions and will abide by such terms as set forth herein.
6. Money-Back Guarantee
Please read this money-back guarantee statement carefully.
6.1 If you book a place at certain public workshops, Wu-Wei XP provides a money-back guarantee. That money-back guarantee is governed by the following terms, except to the extent that the terms of a specific product or service provide otherwise.
6.2 With respect to any workshop booking, you must request your money back within 30 days after the end of the workshop you attended. You may request your money back by emailing service@wuweixp.com. This email must contain information about the workshop you attended, the date(s) of the workshop, the reason why you are requesting your money back and your full contact details. You are not required to submit any proof that you have completed any work related to the workshop since attending it.
6.3 To be eligible for a full refund, you will be required to complete an online feedback form, a link to which will be provided to you upon receiving your request for a refund.
6.4 Upon determining that you are entitled to a refund pursuant to this policy, we will promptly issue an instruction to our payment processor (Stripe) to issue the refund. We do not control the payment processor and will not be able to expedite any refunds.
6.5 If you receive a refund for any workshop booking through this money-back guarantee, that shall immediately terminate any and all licenses granted you to use the material provided to you during the workshop. You shall immediately cease using these materials and shall destroy all copies of the information provided to you, including without limitation: video recordings, audio recordings, PDF readings, forms, template documents, slide shows and any other resources.
