All use of this website is subject to the terms and conditions contained in this Terms of Service Agreement (“the agreement”). Please read this agreement carefully. By accessing, browsing or otherwise using this web you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this agreement. If you cannot accept the terms and conditions of this agreement (GDPR compliant version), you should not access, browse or use this web site.
1.2 You understand and agree that we may change this agreement at any time without prior notice. You may read a current, effective copy of this agreement at any time by selecting the “Terms of Service & Privacy Statement” link on the website. The revised terms and conditions will become effective at the time of posting. Any use of the web site after such date shall constitute your acceptance of such revised terms and conditions. If any change to this agreement is not acceptable to you, your sole remedy is to cease accessing, browsing and otherwise using the website.

To the extent that reports and articles are marked and made available under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons License, those terms and conditions are hereby incorporated by reference. In the event of any conflict between the terms and conditions found in this agreement and the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons License, the terms and conditions found in this agreement shall prevail.
2.3 The Wu-Wei XP service marks and logos used and displayed on this website are registered and unregistered trademarks or service marks of the company. Other company, product, and service names located on the website may be trademarks or service marks owned by third-parties. Nothing on this website or in this agreement should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any Trademark displayed on this web site without the prior written consent of our company specific for each such use. The Trademarks may not be used to disparage us , our products or services, or in any manner (using commercially reasonable judgement) that may damage any goodwill in the Trademarks. Use of any Trademarks as part of a link to or from any web site is prohibited without our prior written consent. All goodwill generated from the use of any of our Trademarks shall inure to our benefit.
2.4 You agree not to: (i) take any action that imposes an unreasonable load on the website’s infrastructure, (ii) use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the website or any activity being conducted on the website, (iii) attempt to decipher, decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer any of the software comprising or making up the website, or (iv) delete or alter any material posted on the website by the Institute or any other person or entity.
2.5 You are granted a limited, revocable, and nonexclusive right to create hyperlinks to the home page or other internet pages of our web site so long as any links do not portray the company, its affiliates, or their content in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive manner. You may not use any of Wu-Wei XP’s logos or other proprietary graphics or trademarks as part of the link without our express written permission.
2.6 To the extent that the website contains links to third-party web sites (“external sites”), these links are provided solely as a convenience to you and not as an endorsement by us of the content on such external sites. The content of such external sites is developed and provided by others. You should contact the site administrator or webmaster for those external sites if you have any concerns regarding such links or any content located on such external sites.
2.7 We are not responsible for the content of any linked external sites and do not make any representations regarding the content or accuracy of any materials on such external sites. You should take precautions when downloading files from all web sites to protect your computer from viruses and other destructive programs. If you decide to access any external sites, you do so at your own risk.

Except for as provided in paragraph 2.2, none of the content for this website may be re-transmitted without the express written consent from Wu-Wei XP for each and every instance.
2.9 Visitors to wuweixp.com may submit or post reviews, suggestions, ideas, comments, questions, or other information concerning website content, so long as the submission or post is not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable and does not consist of or contain software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of “spam.” You may not use a false email address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of the content. Wu-Wei XP reserves the right (but not the obligation) to remove or edit such content.

Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties
3.1 WUWEI XP, ITS AFFILIATES, THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS MAKE NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE CONTENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ITS ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS OR RELIABILITY. THE INSTITUTE PARTIES SHALL NOT BE SUBJECT TO LIABILITY FOR THE TRUTH, ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE CONTENT OR ANY OTHER INFORMATION CONVEYED TO THE USER OR FOR ERRORS, MISTAKES OR OMISSIONS THEREIN OR FOR ANY DELAYS OR INTERRUPTIONS OF THE DATA OR INFORMATION STREAM FROM WHATEVER CAUSE. YOU AGREE THAT YOU USE THE WEBSITE AND THE CONTENT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
3.2 WUWEI XP, ITS AFFILIATES, THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR LICENSORS DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEB SITE WILL OPERATE ERROR FREE OR THAT THE WEBSITE, ITS SERVER, OR THE CONTENT ARE FREE OF COMPUTER VIRUSES OR SIMILAR CONTAMINATION OR DESTRUCTIVE FEATURES. IF YOUR USE OF THE WEB SITE OR THE CONTENT RESULTS IN THE NEED FOR SERVICING OR REPLACING EQUIPMENT OR DATA, NO PARTY SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THOSE COSTS.

Indemnification
4.1 You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the company from and against any claims, actions or demands, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising or resulting from your breach of this agreement or your access to, use or misuse of the content or website. We shall provide notice to you of any such claim, suit, or proceeding. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter which is subject to indemnification under this section. In such case, you agree to cooperate with any reasonable requests assisting our defence of such matter.
Termination of the Agreement
5.1 Wu-Wei XP reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to restrict, suspend, or terminate this agreement and your access to all or any part of the web site or the content at any time and for any reason without prior notice or liability. The Institute reserves the right to change, suspend, or discontinue all or any part of the website or the content at any time without prior notice or liability.
5.2 Sections 2 (Use of the Web Site), 3 (Limitation of Liability and Warranty), 4 (Indemnification), 5 (Termination of Agreement), and 8 (Miscellaneous) shall survive the termination of this agreement.
User Compliance with Applicable Laws
6.1 This website is based in Singapore. We make no claims concerning whether the content may be downloaded, viewed, or be appropriate for use outside of Singapore. If you access the website or the content from outside of Singapore, you do so at your own risk. Whether inside or outside of Singapore, you are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws of your specific jurisdiction.
6.2 Singapore controls the export of products and information. You expressly agree to comply with such restrictions and not to export or re-export any of the content to countries or persons prohibited under the export control laws. By downloading the content, you are expressly agreeing that you are not in a country where such export is prohibited or are a person or entity for which such export is prohibited. You are solely responsible for compliance with the laws of your specific jurisdiction regarding the import, export, or re-export of the content.
Disputes
7.1 Any dispute relating in any way to your visit to the web site or services you purchase through the web site shall be submitted to confidential arbitration of our choosing except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate the company’s intellectual property rights, we may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any court in Singapore, and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. Arbitration under this agreement shall be conducted under the rules then prevailing of Singapore. The arbitrator’s award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Miscellaneous
8.1 This agreement is governed by the internal substantive laws of Singapore, without respect to its conflict of laws provisions. You expressly agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of the courts sitting in Singapore. If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect. Failure on our part to act on or enforce any provision of the agreement shall not be construed as a waiver of that provision or any other provision in this agreement.
8.2 No waiver shall be effective against Wu-Wei XP unless made in writing, and no such waiver shall be construed as a waiver in any other or subsequent instance. Except as expressly agreed by the company and you, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us with respect to the subject matter, and supersedes all previous or contemporaneous agreements, whether written or oral, between the parties with respect to the subject matter. The section headings are provided merely for convenience and shall not be given any legal import.
8.3 This agreement will inure to the benefit of our successors, assigns, licensees. Any information submitted or provided by you to the web site might be publicly accessible. Important and private information should be protected by you. Wu-Wei XP is not liable for protection of privacy of electronic mail or other information transferred through the Internet or any other network that you may use.
Payment, Cancellation & Refund Policies
Overview
These Payment, Cancellation and Refund Policies of Provided Services govern your booking of services made available from or through this web site.
1.1 Having read these policies, you agree to pay Wu-Wei XP the rates displayed on the web site at the time of booking. These rates will remain in effect for the duration of the term agreed upon at that time.
1.2 You agree to pay for your enrolment in a workshop in advance. If a booking remains unpaid for thirty (30) days, we shall have the option to terminate your booking and offer your place to other interested parties.
1.3 You also acknowledge and agree that we shall have the right to revise, change, alter or amend the fees for our workshops and other services at any time. We will inform you of these changes at least thirty (30) days before they come into effect and they won’t affect any bookings made prior.
Acceptable Payment Methods
2.1 By booking a workshop on the web site, you authorize Wu-Wei XP and its agents to transact with your bank or other payment gateways on your behalf to obtain the necessary information required to process payment, confirm payment, resolve inquiries and billing disputes, and/or as otherwise required to manage the booking.
2.2 We accept the following payment methods: (i) Credit Cards with MasterCard, Visa or other branding (ii) International Debit Cards with which your issuer has allowed you to make online purchases; (iii) direct bank deposits and/or transfers; and (iv) payments in cash.
Online Payment Gateway
3.1 The Wu-Wei XP website uses a third-party payment gateway called Stripe (https://stripe.com). Stripe provides us with a single secure payment gateway solution and facilitates us in accepting your online payments on the Web Site by means of credit/debit cards or various other acceptable modes of payment.
3.2 Stripe is a Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard (DSS) certified payment gateway. Stripe has implemented technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorised access, use, alteration or disclosure.
3.3 However, Wu-Wei XP and Stripe cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.
3.4 You acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk.
Cancellations & Refunds
If you cancel your enrolment for a workshop, refunds are calculated on the basis of the following refund policies:
4.1 All cancellation requests must be in writing (an email to service@wuweixp.com will suffice); the date of cancellation is the date we receive your written cancellation request.
4.2 Our workshops are held on the basis of sufficient enrolment. If we cancel a workshop due to insufficient enrolment, you will be given the option of a full refund or transferring your paid fees to the next available date at no additional charge.
4.3 If a workshop is cancelled by us due to an emergency, illness, accident, death, or any other imaginable crisis, either before or after its scheduled start, you will not incur any expenses and any fees paid will be fully refunded.
4.4 If you cancel your enrolment at least one (1) month before the scheduled start of a workshop, we will refund all the fees paid.
4.5 If you cancel your enrolment at least seven (7) business days before the scheduled start of a workshop, we will only refund 50% of the fees paid.
4.6 If you cancel your enrolment within the week before the scheduled start of a workshop, we will not refund any fees paid.
4.7 Fees are generally refunded within 7 business days; however, the length of time required for the funds to be credited to your account is determined by your financial institution. Please check with your financial institution on their specific rules regarding returned or refunded transactions.
4.8 Wu-Wei XP has no obligation to issue refunds if the payment for which the refund request is made was never received due to force majeure or any other imaginable reasons.
4.9 Refunds requiring special handling may result in a delayed return of the funds.
4.10 Information disclosed to us for the purposes of processing your refund requests will be protected in accordance with our current Privacy Statement.
Privacy Statement
Your Privacy on this Website
1.1 Wu-Wei XP is committed to protecting your privacy and security. We control this site from our office in Singapore. We do not claim that the information on the website is appropriate or should be available for use in other locations. If you choose to access this site from other locations, you do so on your own initiative, and are responsible for compliance with local laws, if and to the extent that these local laws are applicable.
Outside Sites (Their Privacy Policies May Be Different)
2.1 The website contains links to other websites, like our sponsor’s websites or links to booksellers, that may offer products or services we think you might find useful. These sites may request information from you. In such instances, the collection and use of your personal information will be governed by the privacy policies applicable to those sites. Wu-Wei XP does not control the privacy policies, contents or links that appear on these sites. You are encouraged to review the privacy policies of any third party sites before providing any of them with your personal information.
How and why we collect information
3.1 This website collects your information in order to record and support your participation in the activities you select. If you register for a workshop, for example, this information might be used to reserve your spot, to track your preferences, and to keep you informed about the workshop and related events.
3.2 In connection with other activities, such as registering for a workshop or booking a keynote, you may be asked to provide certain information about yourself by filling out and submitting an online form. It is completely optional for you to engage in these activities but keep in mind that registration procedures might not be completed if you choose not to provide us with the required information.
3.3 If you do elect to engage in these activities; however, we may ask that you provide some additional information, such as your first and family name, mailing address, e-mail address, telephone, credit card details, and other personal information. If you do not provide the mandatory data with respect to a particular activity, you will not be able to engage in that activity. In all cases, we will collect personal identification information from you only if you voluntarily submit such information to us. You will also be told how we use your information and/or if it is shared with another party.
3.4 Except as otherwise provided in this policy, we will never intentionally disclose any personal identification information about you as an individual user of our website to any third party without having received your explicit permission.
3.5 If you decide to supply us with your contact information, you accept that you may receive periodic e-mails, mailings or calls from us with information on new products and services, important issues, or upcoming events.
3.6 If you wish to be removed from any postal, email, phone, or other lists, please email your request to service@wuweixp.com. Please provide us with your exact name, email address, mailing address, and phone number. We will then make sure your name is removed from the appropriate lists immediately.
3.7 When you use the website, Wu-Wei XP or our authorized service provider may also collect certain technical and routing information from you to facilitate your use of the website and its services. This information will be used solely to administer the website and to understand and measure traffic patterns on the website so that we know which areas of our site are favourites of the visitors, which areas need improvement, and what technologies are being used. This information is collected in aggregate form, without identifying you or any other user individually.
3.8 Wu-Wei XP may use this aggregate, non-identifying statistical data for statistical analysis, marketing, or similar promotional purposes. This data is often tracked by means of “cookies” during your visit. A cookie is small amount of data that is transferred to your browser by a web server and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. 4.1 While we are committed to keeping your information secure and private, there are some exceptions to this privacy policy: (i) Wu-Wei XP will release specific information about you or your account to comply with any valid legal inquiry or process such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute or court order. (ii) We will also release specific information in special cases, such as if there is an attempted breach of the security of the website, or a physical or property threat to you or others. (iii) We may also transfer user information, including personally identifiable information, in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, the sale of related assets or corporate division or other fundamental corporate change.
4.2 Note that all the information you enter when making a purchase will be shared with payment processors, financial gateways, and your credit card company to authorize credit card payments. Such information may also be shared with necessary third parties for the purpose or carrying out the transactions.
4.3 Please note that if you give out personal information online through a discussion board or posting site not related to our website, that information can be collected and used by third parties. Although we strive to protect your privacy at all costs, the privacy of personal information you post on these forums cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, you disclose such information at your own risk.

5.1 These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree that any action at law or in equity that arises out of or relates to these terms will be subject to mediation in Singapore. If any of these terms of use are found unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision will be considered sever able from the remaining terms of use, and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
